ABOUT Club and City

Club & City is a space dedicated to honoring the world’s many soccer clubs of the world through artistic photography. Soccer is the world’s sport and we want to cover it from a “global lens”. Too often we feel like stories of clubs from lesser known countries or leagues aren’t told enough around the world due to the extreme popularity of Western European soccer leagues and the elite clubs that play in them.

This means that most soccer fans often only get exposed to the “tip of the iceburg” in terms of global soccer clubs and leagues.

Ultimately through sharing these photos, we hope soccer fans from across the world (and specifically America) gain a more global perspective and investigate these specific men's and women's clubs and leagues further.

Club and City is a gallery about the club game is a reflection of community and the clubs that reside in that community. In our world, soccer or football is apart of mass culture and thus apart of our universality as a species. The club game is the lifeblood of the sport and we are proud to display the best of it and thus the best of humanity.
